I’m a big fan of turmeric and it’s anti-inflammatory properties, but not a big fan of the taste. I tried the golden milk recipes for a few weeks and just never enjoyed them. Then I switched to turmeric supplements, so I could get them down easier. A bit of a cheat, but at least I was getting my daily turmeric.
Today I found a great site called Paleo Gluten Free Eats with amazing healthy recipes. When I saw the Turmeric Latte recipe and realized I have most of the ingredients, I decided to give it a try. Let’s give the turmeric powder another chance. And WOW, am I glad I did!
Now I have this delicious recipe that I can make every day, and I most likely will. It tastes that good!
Take a look at these healthy ingredients. You’ll have to pinch yourself that you’re doing something good for your body each time you drink it.

INGREDIENTS
1 ½ cup almond milk
¼ cup raw cashews (optional to make creamier, I didn’t use them)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¾ teaspoon turmeric powder
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon ground ginger
¼ teaspoon vanilla powder (I didn’t have this)
dash of nutmeg (I didn’t have this)
pinch of fresh cracked black pepper
pinch of sea salt
stevia liquid to taste or 2 tablespoons maple syrup (I used syrup)
cup of ice cubes
Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender for 1-3 minutes and ENJOY!
I use my Ninja blender all the time and love it. Find it HERE for a great price.
Seriously, try not to let the kids drink yours after they gobble up theirs. You may have to hide in a closet.😂
